I’m Francisca, but everyone calls me Fran—or one of the many nicknames that have been given to me over the years: del Basto, FDB, Frannie, even Claudia (how that one happened is a story best saved for coffee).

​I’m a Chilean creative based in California, and I’ve lived in Spain and Argentina along the way.

Each of these cultures has shaped the way I see the world and given me endless reasons to keep creating.

Today, I’m an ACD at McKinney LA, though at heart I’ll always be an art director. I believe the best ideas first catch your eye and then go straight to your heart. Over the past few years, I won the Young Lions U.S. Hispanic competition in 2023 and 2024, and in 2025 I was selected for See It Be It Cannes Lion El Sol.
